What Benefit Can an Engaged Employee Bring to the Table?

Obviously, the examples I just presented are a simplification of two opposing scenarios in order to help prove a point, but the scenario is not all that far off from reality, or that uncommon. The level of engagement that can be attributed to each employee is a direct indication of how well your company is performing compared to its potential. Or, in other words, finding out how your employees feel about their environment, and the role they play within the larger scheme of your organization, lends insight into how you can improve those sentiments in order to create a more engaged, productive workforce.
